It would be great if slicers were searchable. Many times the list of possible items people can slice by is large, and having to scroll till you find the value(s) you are looking for is tedious.

Please enable slicers to be searchable (much like what Qlik has been allowing for years already).

Thanks.

Searchable slicers are available now in Power BI! Make sure you're on the June release or later of Power BI Desktop. You can find the search box by clicking the "..." menu on the slicer visual and selecting search.

RE: Searchable Slicer

Its been over 6 months since the original idea submission that this feature is still "UNDER REVIEW". As others have pointed out in this thread, this is a CRITICAL feature that is missing & reduces the elegance of the slicers to a painful lack of function. Without the ability to type/search from a long list, the Slicers become nearly NON-USABLE. I sincerely request that this idea get its due attention at the earliest. Thanks

RE: Searchable Slicer

Searchable slicer custom visual rocks as it shows also data for the items. Please also add the "display as" option for data points (thousands, millions, auto and number of decimals) and also an option to sort by value instead of alphabetically.

RE: Searchable Slicer

This is a fairly basic features for users navigating large data sets. The report filters help, but they cannot have more granular application and translate poorly to mobile.

I was about to submit the same idea but found this, so no longer need to. This is a MUST HAVE feature!
