RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop
It is interesting that VBA has retained strong support from the user community despite talks of it being deprecated. The reason is that VBA provides amazing functionality and yet is easy to get started with (e.g. VBA.Msgbox). Built into PowerBI and the potential application would be exponential - ad-hoc data cleansing (based on rules), analytics, visualisation > publication.
RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop
vba addition to powerbi please
RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop
please add VBA in power BI
RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop
vba made excel so powerful, the same for powerbi would be gold. but more than just vba I think whats missing is easier automation in powerbi without having to be a web developer and know javascript. VBA was easy to write and audit. Javascript def isnt for non web developers.
RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop
Definitely need VBA in Power Bi
RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop
I just don't understand why people keep cutting programming features from BA tools. PQ and PP are good products, but the users are limited to the features provided, not to say that the language editors are bullshit even comparing to the outdated VBE. Stop dumbing down stuffs.
RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop
I need VBA for Power BI!!!
RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop
Yes, please add VBA
RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop
We need VBA for PowerBI, too
RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop
It seems like others have already requested this, but I would love to use Power BI. Unfortunately, until it has VBA possibilities, it is useless for me.
