How sexy the data looks is sometimes more important than how accurate it is!
I love a light grey/dark grey colour scheme as much as the next person, but it be great to be able to brand the dashboard with the organisation colours/background watermark/logos etc. Maybe offer an option to modify the default CSS used - similar to how blogging sites like blogger allow you to change your page layouts/colours with a simple admin gui or completely change it by rewriting the CSS

we need custom branding of the power BI service headers too. Instead of Power BI logo clients want to see their own logo and color in the headers.

'@Anonymous, with your description, it looks like you're trying to theme a report on Desktop. Can you try it on a dashboard in the service? Better yet, download the Light theme for yourself by clicking on the "Download JSON theme" on the dashboard theme pane.

Well - it is a good start :-) However you still need to address titles and subtitles: No way to center/middle style and no way to change the size of the titles/subtitles.

Well, the May update is out and not even a hint of any new "theming" functionality - can we please have an update?
I will state again that "theming" should/will be a HUGE change and it will most certainly take a LOT of time and effort to add "themes".
Can we PLEASE have some sort of roadmap!!!

I hate to say but branding - including our logo - is a deal breaker for us, and now that Spring has sprung without a release that I know of, my company has to move forward soon with a competitor's product. Unless there a latest word anyone knows about?

this looks like it should be an excellent addition to Power BI's existing theming capabilities

Does this also allow us to change the font? I have just spent about an hour changing and standardizing the fonts in the report and when I pin it to a dashboard, some changed to the new font and some stayed at the default font. Do I have to go and now change everything back to default? I hate that font! Thanks :)
