Ability to select/click a row on the table or chart and be able to contextually go to another report , with appropriate filters. This is only useful when we are able to hide the pages in the report and they appear only when something is(row or cell) selected on a table or similar chart.

I'm pleased to say that the September release of Power BI Desktop includes the capability to drill between report pages. More details in the blog post here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-september-2017-feature-summary/ There are a couple of related ideas that you can vote on if you'd find them useful: Drill into an SSRS report: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/6740219-ssrs-reports-for-drill-down-into-detailed-reports Drill to a transaction details page: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200/suggestions/13662768 Thanks for your support and votes!

Has this really been under review since 2014? Please resurrect this idea and implement it - we need it desperately! Thanks!

RE: Drill to a report page

We seriously need the ability to navigate between pages in the same report without having to resort to the tabs at the bottom of the page. If I have ten top-level metrics on a page, then I probably have ten visualizations. I want to click on a particular visualization and go to the appropriate detail page. I don't expect the boss to have to search the tabs for each appropriate page. I want him to have the capability to click a visualization that attracts his interest and go directly to the appropriate page. This is twentieth century stuff!

RE: Drill to a report page

This feature is a must. This is an important requirement in my project. Without this feature I cannot proceed further.
Surprising that this feature is not yet available in PowerBI. This is like a basic feature for Reporting.

RE: Drill to a report page

This is very similar to the feature called link to report on Datazen where you are able to pass parameters (data filters) to the next report.

RE: Drill to a report page

Actually, with shared dashboard, users could not navigate to another reports. so they need to go back dashboard and click to next report. it's really inconvenient.
