It would be nice if there is an option to have a scheduled export of a report to PDF. A nice to have feature would be to directly e-mail it to people so they are being notified of the latest report.

Another update on this item - users now have the ability to set up scheduled subscriptions with paginated reports and 6 different formats, along with parameters per subscription to allow further personalization. There is also now the ability to create paginated reports against any Power BI dataset in the service, and we're planning to add drillthrough from Power BI to Paginated Reports in the short term. We still have plans to support e-mail attachments for Power BI reports as well in the coming months, and we'll share more specifics once we get closer to starting that work.

RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf
The reports are great except our sales people and management ask if they can send the report to a customer. The sent report should be a static view that cannot be manipulated and being able to choose the filters and sorting, then export the report to a pdf with all of the formatting is essential for adoption

Any ETA on this?

Estimados, soy publicadora web y necesito manejar continuamente archivos pdf.
No puedo subirlos a la red porque las bases contienen informaciĆ³n confidencial.
Que opciones tenemos? Permite exportar a Excel? O a Doc?
Gracias.

It can be done only if one publishes to the web service. Even then though, formatting is at the whim of the browser and has been generally awful in my experience. Chrome has the best rendering of the PDF, using it's Save feature.
Would be great if PowerBI could export to PDF with true WYSIWYG functionality.

Can you please provide a method to print or export to pdf, PowerPoint, etc.. Ridiculous that the visuals cannot be printed.
RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf
I agree with . We like to print the data and analyze and discuss within team about . So far we do print screens - very uncomfortable

I too am looking for a replacement for SSRS. And since Office 365 SharePoint doesn't really support 'surfacing' SSRS reports for the user, we are stuck. PowerBI has gotten us so far, but the printing options/capabilities have shown to be a roadblock to adoption.

wow, that's a fantastic news

Report scheduling will extend the benefits of Power BI to non-ICT savvy users in our health service (the majority of staff). We have a business need for a regular queuing system that allows us to deliver regular reports and analytics. Power BI users here need to be able to set the time of delivery, recipients, frequency, error notification (if a report fails to send) and output type (pdf, html, excel etc.) - delivering the data to the end users/consumers.
