Power BI, by default showing the selected fields in the report tooltip. There should be a option to discard/add fields from the tooltip. e.g It shows Index column in Map visualization, which can be discarded.

I'm sorry for the delay in updating this idea, but we have in fact made custom report page tooltips generally available as of the September release of Power BI Desktop. It's pretty bad to have to display the longitude and latitude in every hover over a map.
Especially since I can't display the data I want without the tooltip and hover.

Turning it off in visuals is a critical aspect, please fix this.

'Features required:
- Ability to rename the DATA LABELS, within the tooltip.
- Formatting of Data labels,& include custom text within the tooltip.

I'd like to be able to have Action URLs on tool tips. The urls should be driven by parameters in the report. For example you can go to a Customer's SalesForce page from a Customer Chart.

I want to add instructions as tooltips to cards. I can get around it by adding a pie chart but I still need the ability to be able to customise the tooltips for them to look right.

Tooltip only shows limited number of values - I have a line chart with 14 lines but tooltip only shows first 10 with no way of seeing the other lines values.

It should also be possible to add hyperlinks as chart tool-tips. These could link to video tutorials or html files explaining the report.

We have more of a need like if they have a question number, and question text and a bar graph shows 3 question numbers, we hover over to the question text per question in the graph. Right now, we have to choose First, last, Distinct count etc in the tooltips. We just want to show the question text. It does for "First" but other questions are in the graph and makes the graph show the text for the first value only.
