    Change column labels/names in the visual

    It would be great if we could change columns labels/names in the standard visuals (Table & Matrixes mainly). In our company we have a data warehouse build to support the PowerBI tabular model with the data. The field names in the data model are not the most intuitive to our PowerBI End User. It could be great if we could change the way the field labels are shown in our tables to be more intuitive and meaningful without needing to change the field names in the data model.

    Maybe one could also add an automatic conversion option to change internal representation like "PascalCaseNaming" or "snake_case_naming" to "Parsed Case naming" like in the snakecase R package via case = "parsed" & postprocess = " " : https://github.com/Tazinho/snakecase

    Hi I would also like the ability to include a Measure's name as the Row Label in a Matrix table?

    I have rows of different KPI measures against several Business Unit Columns but I also need a row label to describe what this particular KPI is (either Free text or the Measure's Name would be ideal)?

    Excellent! With dynamic tags by dax it would be even better.

    Might also make sense to have ability to offer "tool tip" bubble when person hovers over field name. This is so that a definition can be supplied when needed especially if field names need to be abbreviated for to minimize real estate consumed.

    I hope this wil not only be in table/pivot visuals, also in charts this is usefull. You can change the color for each value, why not allow to add a custom label so we don't have to rename the fields ..
