It would be great if we could change columns labels/names in the standard visuals (Table & Matrixes mainly). In our company we have a data warehouse build to support the PowerBI tabular model with the data. The field names in the data model are not the most intuitive to our PowerBI End User. It could be great if we could change the way the field labels are shown in our tables to be more intuitive and meaningful without needing to change the field names in the data model.

Perfect! Can you do it for any item on the field too? This is a good feature in pivot table (on Excel) and would be very usefull on PBI.

Other point, Can we re-order manually the itens for any field in Matrix visual? Sometimes the order from the itens should be done like a business view not by a simple alphanumeric rule.

Alignment for headlines (left/right/centered) in Matrix/ table too would be so nice

Please make available for direct query source. I don't know why but some time it feels direct query is left behind in some updates.

I have just noticed that you can now do this within the Power BI service - right-click on a field in the field section of the visual designer and there is a rename option and you just overtype the text you want. Haven't seen this annouced anywhere.

And it works for live SSAS connections as well :-)
