    Dragging a hierarchy into a report and change it to slicer... can we get a slicer with hierarchy (collapsible/expandable)?

    '@will Thomson, You should design a filter that has the hierarchy mode, or as a complement to the filter you have.

    '@Will Thompson, any updates? Alternatively please just implement the Hierarchy Slicer Custom Visual as a default Visual in Power BI.

    As others have said, the custom one is a start but lacks in many areas, a hierarchy slicer is a basic requirement.

    The custom visual hierarchy slicer does not work well. Syncing slicers does not work. Exporting to pdf does not show this slicer as it is not Microsoft certified.

    We really need a working hierarchy slicer. The existing one from a third-party is slow, buggy, not updated anymore, and does not work with new features such as sync slicers.
