Dragging a hierarchy into a report and change it to slicer... can we get a slicer with hierarchy (collapsible/expandable)?

With the June release of Power BI Desktop we've made this feature generally available. Thanks for voting and giving us feedback!

RE: Slicer Hierarchy
I see this in Feb 2020 release preview. It will be good to add in blank members hiding feature. it will be useful in hiding blank nodes in an unbalanced hierarchy like org hierarchy
RE: Slicer Hierarchy
this would be great having it with a drop down. to be honest it really should already be there but having had multiple people in the business ask for this recently it is sorely needed
RE: Slicer Hierarchy
What would be great is if we could also control the top hierarchy level shown in the visual based on a measure.
This would be extremely useful for having multiple customers using the same report with Row Level Security, as one customer could have a 2 level hierarchy and another could have 3 levels. Having to show all 3 levels for all customers is not ideal. This would be fantastic
RE: Slicer Hierarchy
please make sure it works in a dropdown, without having to adjust the height of the dropdown.
RE: Slicer Hierarchy
Please fix this
RE: Slicer Hierarchy
your visual is good but still your mark in the right corner , that couldn't be use in production , suppose need a licence for don't see the mark
RE: Slicer Hierarchy
Try out our Hierarchical Filter by xViz that was released very recently

RE: Slicer Hierarchy
need a feed back , still in evaluation over five years...
RE: Slicer Hierarchy
5 years, but this very important request is still not implemented. I understand that Microsoft want to death SSAS MD and to nudge us to move to SSAS tabular. But there are so much features not possible in SSAS Tabular and SSAS MD is still alive. Please support the usage of hierarchies which is a main concept of OLAP databases.
This missing feature is the main reason why I classify PowerBI as "not usefull for SSAS MD" for many years.
RE: Slicer Hierarchy
'@Team, With plenty of issues with the existing 3rd party Hierarchy Slicer. Is there a roadmap on when Microsoft is planning to release their own Hierarchy slicer as business is rigorously following up on this requirement. Would be of great help
