It was implemented in charts but not in tables or matrixes.

We released conditional formatting in tables with our May release of Power BI Desktop. Give it a try and let us know what you think. You can learn more about how to use it in our latest blog post: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-may-update-feature-summary/.

RE: conditional formatting in tables

This is great that it's added in tables, but needs to be added to matrices too!

RE: conditional formatting in tables

Conditional formatting in tables works great, but only lets you change the cell colour

Could we have it apply to the font colour?

RE: conditional formatting in tables

ahha! formatting above and below zero IS possible is you set the low number to 0 and the high number to 1 - beware of any dax formatting you have put on the data in your table - mine was breaking due to commas and pound symbols in the numbers.

RE: conditional formatting in tables

Really disappointing. I cant even use the newly released conditional formatting to highlight negative numbers in 1 colour (red) and positive numbers in another (green).

A real deal breaker for my client!

RE: conditional formatting in tables

Please add true conditional formatting. A developer should be able to base the lower/upper bounds on either a field value or a dax statement.

RE: conditional formatting in tables

In my experience when an idea is "Completed" no one at Microsoft ever goes back to read additional comments or issues. I've seen people created a new Idea with a link to the original idea so it can be voted on again :{

RE: conditional formatting in tables

I fully agree with Francois - please add the conditional formatting also to Matrix.
Please focus to add other conditional foramtting similar to Excel functionalities, especially the ability to colour values with green/yellow/red in Scorecard.

Thanks,
Paweł

RE: conditional formatting in tables

Conditional formatting feature should be applied to matrix, too!
