The export to PDF feature of Power BI Desktop is awesome. Could we have this PDF support option via the embedded API to generate PDFs into a network location? Say, an UNC path. This would be fantastic for bespoke applications!

This is a game changer. I have already had to build external functionality to accomplish this

And also we nee the option to export data to more then csv,excel formats our customers need the ability to export to PDF formats

'we are receiving more and more feedback that we should be able to print to PDF from our power bi embedded solution, noting;
- should be able to programatically define the output type (pdf, docx, xlsx, pptx, etc)
- export should print the entire visualisation, i.e. some visualisations have information available in a scrollable window, such as a bar chart with > 20 rows
- applied slicer filters must still be applied, i.e. the print / save must record the current visualisation state
- output should be accessible via 'save as' download
- optional override to print all pages or just the current report page

Please do this ASAP. Our end users are crazy to print the report page by page.....
