I would like to group visuals, textboxes and shapes to create custom features and presentations in the reports.

It would be really helpful if one could create groups of items, and be able to select all these items in one click from a layer list in the left pane. In addition this would make it much easier to control foreground or background placement of multiple items.

-A bit similar to how Photoshop uses layes.

RE: group objects

In addition to lasso selection, it would be extremely helpful to have the ability to move multiple objects via keyboard functions rather than dragging with the mouse. They tend to get rather wonky when dragging several objects at a time.

RE: group objects

This really needs to be done - having to Ctrl+click every time you want to select more than one component is really frustrating

RE: group objects

It could also be very handy to be able to minimize the group of visualisations. In this way you could hide/unhide all the report filters on a report for example.

RE: group objects

Creating compelling visuals is the most difficult part of this tool. Grouping as well as guides and anchors would be greatly appreciated!

RE: group objects

Agreed, especially useful for me when building a search type page with several slicers.

RE: group objects

Totally agree. It is particularly difficult to select all objects where you have many of them stacked on top of each other and as a result you have to manually select. Not only that, but once you've moved them they become deselected again which is frustrating.
