As has been partly implemented with Filters, it would be very useful to have slicers that could apply to all pages of a report. This would allow users to interact more easily.

The most exciting news so far this year! In the February release of Power BI Desktop we've shipped the ability to synchronize slicers on different pages in your report! It would be good to be able to promote a slicer to a report-level filter. I'd say the same for a cross-filter too.
Speaking for myself, the reason I like slicers over filters is because I often have filters that I don't want the end-user to interact with. For example I might filter out junk records. If there was a way to have "end-user" filters that were separated from design-view filters, I think this would help me use filters more. With a slicer I have much more control over what people see.

Copying Kristin Pugi's comment below. This is how I'm building reports and users would much rather interact with slicers on one page and have them apply to all pages rather than using filter pane on selecting Report FIlters.
Must have feature. It would connect pages to reporting solution. Into first page you create overview page with key metrics and filters, you choose proper filters and see different pages filtered same. And not only Slicers - I would suggest making option to visual also act like global report level filter. Is it so hard to add property to the visual/slicer "Act as report level filter" :-)

It is critical to have this feature. Makes it difficult for user to navigate across tabs for analysis. Surprising that feature isn't supported currently.

This is extremely important and I am surprised that this is not implemented in Power BI, since it exists in PowerView (and Excel).
I want to design my reports so the first page is where the user sets all the slicers as parameters, which are applied to all visuals as users move through the other pages of the report.
Basically when editing the interactions of a slicer, we should be able to set these across pages.

It is difficult to have guided analysis without this functionality. We have a number of customers asking about his feature - Global Filters just doesn't cut it.

This should also apply to the visualizations.
If I click on a visualization and it applies a filter, that filter should apply across pages.
(We'd also need some kind of button to clear all slicer/viszualization filters)
