As has been partly implemented with Filters, it would be very useful to have slicers that could apply to all pages of a report. This would allow users to interact more easily.

The most exciting news so far this year! In the February release of Power BI Desktop we've shipped the ability to synchronize slicers on different pages in your report! Agreed! Trying to do this in the Report Level filters, but the date will not sort desc no matter what I try. Makes this workaround unusable.

has to be done. we need this capability now. I can't have the same slicer on every page it takes way to much real estate. I need to be able to make a page that allows people to make there choices and have it trickle down to each page if it doesn't do it then this whole thing is useless to me.

Would make creating reporting packs a lot easier if people could filter the entire report on 1 screen

This issue is also very importanto to me. Is it possible to use "filters" in the Dashboards? I was only able to use slicers...

One thing that that would begin to help is make the filters available in the dashboards. This would allow people to see all the data change at the same time as you filter your data.

Filtering overall lets Power BI down badly. It has been improved a lot (esp with slicer search) but still a long way to go.The right hand side filters are poor. There is no link between different filters. So if I make a selection on the side filters or a say bar chart it doesn't reflect in the slicers. And there isn't a box to show filters made. And to remove all filters if required. So rather than continuing to do improvements piecemeal I would prefer that they reconsider what is required and how best to achieve this.

I was searching a howto but found this thread. Needed for the exact same reasons as mentioned by all the other posts.

Bringing Power BI for the company i work and this was brought by my client in our first requirement meeting. I'm sure a lot of people need this.

This feature is much needed.
