On PowerBi Desktop we can get data using Python Scripts, but after published we can't schedule a refresh data for this connection. The PowerBI returns:
"Query contains unknown funtion name: Python.Execute."
It would be better if all features on desktop would work on web too.

RE: Python on Scheduled Refresh
I need to be able to run python scripts. Not visualizations: data manipulation. It is absurd that I have to manually update every morning.
RE: Python on Scheduled Refresh
I wonder why it isn't possible because when I'm manually refreshing the report it works but scheduled refresh doesn't
RE: Python on Scheduled Refresh
I just faced the same problem. I have a Python step in Power Query... pretty simple pandas command and I am not allowed to schedule a refresh because of that
RE: Python on Scheduled Refresh
Please complete this
RE: Python on Scheduled Refresh
Also we cannot vote for this idea as long as it is marked as completed!
RE: Python on Scheduled Refresh
Dear ADMIN, this is not completed yet. You can only refresh data sets that use R/Python transformations using personal gateway not enterprise gateway.
RE: Python on Scheduled Refresh
Such a poor response from Microsoft. Really disappointing to not even know if or when they can look at getting this done.
RE: Python on Scheduled Refresh
'+1 that this is NOT completed!
RE: Python on Scheduled Refresh
'+1..... why was this marked as completed when the function doesn't exist?
RE: Python on Scheduled Refresh
Agreed that this is not really useful until it's available via the enterprise gateway, unfortunately. Quite a few other BI tools already have this functionality.
