RE: Support SQL Server Geometry/Geography data types in Power BI
It's a shame to have a datatype in MSSQL not supported in PBI
RE: Support SQL Server Geometry/Geography data types in Power BI
Would be awesome!
RE: Support SQL Server Geometry/Geography data types in Power BI
How is this possible?

but no powerbi support?
RE: Support SQL Server Geometry/Geography data types in Power BI
This needs to be added ASAP!! Come on MS sort this out - how can you support SQL Spacial Data Types but not be able to visual this data type?
RE: Support SQL Server Geometry/Geography data types in Power BI
Please consider adding this. A must have feature.
RE: Support SQL Server Geometry/Geography data types in Power BI
Please, please, please add this functionality! You can do this using SSRS, but it's not the best experience. Why not perfect it in Power BI?
RE: Support SQL Server Geometry/Geography data types in Power BI
This glaring omission is hard to understand..
RE: Support SQL Server Geometry/Geography data types in Power BI
Why is everything so disjointed with and in Microsoft products?
RE: Support SQL Server Geometry/Geography data types in Power BI
Such a shame Microsoft is faaaaaaaaar behind their competitors in reporting based on maps! What good is that I can store spatial data in SQL Server database if I cannot visualize it properly in a Power BI? This is so often a requirement! To give some business example: a report for property investors showing a circle with a given radius (in meters, individual for each point) supporting decisions if the area is attractive for investments. Drawing spatials on map is not the only required feature. Search capabilities, free hand selection and information about missing points (not recognized points) are MUST HAVE features too. Please, Power BI Team, give us a chance to compete with other BI leaders whenever maps are a part of report!

Would LOVE this feature!
