    Be able to create email subscriptions for the PBIX reports in the Report Server

    We’d hoped we’d have a good way to bring this functionality to the server – however, similarly to Export to PDF, after a lengthy evaluation of all the options and required investments, we’re not planning to bring this feature to the server at this time.

    because of this, I cannot proceed with using PBRS and we will continue to use Tableau.

    this is standard feature and not sure why it didn't even consider to add, because of this, we cannot proceed with using PBRS and we will continue to use Tableau.

    Agree with the comments. Subscription is the key feature and critical to sell the idea of PBI to management. Without they'll just keep using SSRS subscriptions and discard any investment in Power BI Report Server.
    I wonder if Garther will consider it as a lack of vision and move MS to lower quadrant.

    I love how over 2,000 people have voted for it, meaning thousands more want it, and still it's not worth it to Microsoft.

    This is such a sad decision.. Email subscription is critical in org. Not every org has the ability to access mobile view.
