is it possible to add support for "duration" data type in the report view as in Power Query?

RE: field of "duration" type

Indeed; it's kind of weird that this is not supported right now? Please add! :)

RE: field of "duration" type

Perhaps an easy way to implement this would be to have a duration format for the decimal number data type. The format could assume the decimal number represents a number of seconds and then format accordingly in views while leaving calculation models the same.

RE: field of "duration" type

This is a feature that is most needed. Have a report where I need to add seconds and minutes. I was able to use the below conversion, but I am having problems adding the values by month. // Duration formatting
// * @konstatinos 1/25/2016
// * Given a number of seconds, returns a format of "hh:mm:ss"

RE: field of "duration" type

Please do it, so we can replicate Excel's [h]:mm:ss format in Power BI in a way that it shows duration properly even if duration exceeds 24 hours. Example seconds: 1,147,832; time: 318:50:32

RE: field of "duration" type

I have data stored in format of HH:MM:SS. Not able to show that data on any axis. Kindly consider it.

RE: field of "duration" type

This really really needs to be looked at, for anything requiring accuracy you have to have a full view of H:M:S:ms
