Export to PowerPoint reveals "hidden" Pages, and the "hidden" pages contribute to the maximum of export limit of 15 pages. It would be great if:
a) the hidden pages did not contribute to the maximum 15 pages
b) the hidden pages were not revealed when exported to PowerPoint

Hi everyone, This is coming soon when we also release filtered export capabilities in the service. We’ll have an update on this status shortly! Thanks, Chris

RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages

A defect for sure - please fix, power BI team. I use multiple hidden sheets for tool tips, drill-through detail and for developers validations and QA of data which is useful to keep within the file.

This felt like a bug to me!
I cant see any reason why you would wan't to have the tool tips pages appear in an export to PDF.

I feel this is a glitch, if someone is hiding a page - why is it exporting to ppt ?

RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages

I agree with this. If the page is hidden in the report, it should not be printed in PowerPoint. For the reports I've created, hidden pages are usually only used for testing, design, or revisions, so having them printed in PowerPoint is a problem.

Wow - This was a highly unexpected behavior that I just discovered today (hadn't used it before at all), and makes no sense to me.
This makes the hidden report feature sort of useless and must confuse som non-admin endusers. I have a lot great stuff to say about Power BI, but some features a still clearly early in the maturing phase before being a rounded and full-featured product.

RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages

Essential - we have lots of hidden pages which are for drill down - when the report exports to Power point it shouldn't include these. Or at least provide an option to exclude hidden pages.

I agree and would want this a feature in the print option as well.

RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages

I agree with this. If the page is hidden in the report then it should not print in PowerPoint. For reports I've created, the hidden pages are typically only used for drill through, so having them print into the PowerPoint serves no purpose.
