Allow me to utilize SSRS PowerView just like I can with Excel PowerView and pin reports to the dashboard, however with SSRS, I would like to connect to on-prem data sources

Hi Doug, thanks for the suggestion. We have another suggestion for connections to on-prem data sources. Can you elaborate on the SSRS Power View requirement? Do you need to upload existing rdlx reports?

Better to put filters in dashboard level also, because dashboard is a initial page they need to see the filter data in dashboard it self with out going to individual reports

Very disappointed that this functionality is not there yet. It's a show stopper for us.

Filter on dashboard is needed. Would love to develop customer scorecard with key points from each report and on the dashboard be able to select a single customer that would filter all other tiles.

In fact this should be similar to existing feature in QlikSense, where you filter a KPI and decide to keep this filter active when filtering another KPI. This allow much deeper data analysis capabilities, without having to rely only on slicers

RE: PowerView rdlx connecting to on-prem data source

I've been using Power BI since October 2015 and think the possibilities for this tool are truly incredible. Any update on global filters for dashboards? It's been planned, but is it in process yet? This is the main piece that is really holding back our ability to adopt Power BI in a larger sense.

This has definitely been addressed before in other threads, but as it's gone several months without being added to the work flow yet; I wanted to draw attention to it once more. Global filters being pinnable cards to the dashboard working online and in mobile is essential to adoption of Power BI for our company. Has this gone beyond the planning stage? Thanks! ~Paul

It would be great if I could pin a slicer from a report to a dashboard to make it dynamic. As it is now, I need to pin the whole report as an "active window" to make the dashboard dynamic.

It would be great to be able to have the filter option available for pinning onto a dashboard.
