As has been partly implemented with Filters, it would be very useful to have slicers that could apply to all pages of a report. This would allow users to interact more easily.

The most exciting news so far this year! In the February release of Power BI Desktop we've shipped the ability to synchronize slicers on different pages in your report! Looks like this broke the ability to have a slicer sort by a second column as per this thread

I've updated my version and refreshed a report that previously sorted a date slicer using a secondary sort column - it doens't work anymore and is sorted alphabetically.

Will things like the hierarchy slicer be able to take advantage of this? Didn't seem to work for me. Since they are vetted in the Microsoft Store, they should be able to take advantage of this option.

Great functionality, only issue is the filters are not taken into account with the Export to PowerPoint. Is this an open action?

Power BI team, thanks for this but it can't be considered as completed as the request was "slicers that could apply to all pages of a report". This is not just a sync between slicers on different pages, but a single slicer that could apply to all other pages. E.g. one could create a page only with slicers and place reports on other pages. Sometimes slicers take too much space on a sheet!

Great, but so pity it only works on the standard slicer. Still missing Hierarchies ! (The Custom Visual works fine, but is not synced) ... :-(
