    Auto refresh data in Power BI desktop

    There must be an option to refresh data through schedule in power bi desktop application. Please add this important feature.

    I also agree. This needs to be automatically refreshed after a fixed time frame

    Agreed!!! Now users need to manually refresh the data and this needs to be automatic

    I agree, please add this to Power BI Desktop. The expediency of the uploading to Power BI service via the personal gateway is pretty much voided if I have to constantly refresh Power BI desktop whenever I add to my data source in excel.

    want to use it as a near-real-time dashboard... without data refresh this is not possible. I agree with the others, this should be part of the basic functionality.
