We really love the new feature of 'Composite Models' in the Power BI July 2018 update! This enables us to join custom lists with DirectQuery sources.
It would also be beneficial if this would also work when connected to SSAS Tabular in DirectQuery.
This would stronlgy improve the enterprise features of Power BI.

Hi Charles,
This was placed in the backlog in September. Any update on the planning for implementation? This is urgently needed for us and our users.

We would like to create relationship between different types of data sources - e.g. query data created by .pbix file and dataset from SSAS cubes. Any alternative solution would be appreciated.
