Power BI, by default showing the selected fields in the report tooltip. There should be a option to discard/add fields from the tooltip. e.g It shows Index column in Map visualization, which can be discarded.

I'm sorry for the delay in updating this idea, but we have in fact made custom report page tooltips generally available as of the September release of Power BI Desktop. Yeah, I would like to be able to customize the visual, inclusive of re-sizing and add/removing data and descriptor fields.

Agree with the comments below; the new tool tip (bring through from another page hoover box) is incredibly useful, but does not go in any way to resolve the issue outlined above. We need to be able to add/remove/have the option to decide what appears in the grey hover box. For example, I am currently working on shape maps and find it useful to allow LSOA area values to come through via the grey hover box. However, I do not need the title 'LSOA-0012' to come through as well.

Agree with other comments. This is idea is only partially completed. Still need the ability to remove tool tip default values. Tableau is way ahead in this regard.

This is not completed as of July 15, 2019. Look at the way Tableau does it - that's the idea - complete customization of data included and the presentation of that data - font, font type, user input text that's included for every item, the ability to remove fields...Tableau is miles ahead in this regard

that's not the same: having a tooltip page is very usefull BUT IT IS NOT THE SAME as removing fields from the tooltip list
