I'd like to be able to move/rearrange my Calculated Columns in the Data View so they can be placed next to columns where they would be more relevant and make more sense.

It would be nice also if the Calculated Columns are shaded darker as in PowerPivot so we can easily distinguish them.

Also please enable Ctrl+A (Select ALL) in the Data View - currently it works only in the Query Editor.

This way we could Select ALL Data in the Data View where it would include the Calculated Columns.

RE: Moving/Rearranging Calculated Columns

In my opinion this change is absolutely crucial. The issue has been open since 2015 and no change has been implemented, please listen to us Power BI team!

RE: Moving/Rearranging Calculated Columns

Please, please Power BI team... make our data organisation dreams come true. It is so frustrating when we have a perfectly formed table, edit the name of a field and suddenly the key is on the right. My brain cannot cope with this. Please help.

So so valuable! When enriching data and trying to order mesures away from data characteristics and like data together

RE: Moving/Rearranging Calculated Columns

Another reason to do this is that when you create a Union in DAX the fields in both files have to be arranged in the same order otherwise you will get the wrong data after the Union is performed :(

RE: Moving/Rearranging Calculated Columns

I'd like to be able to move / rearrange all of the data model's columns in "Data" view. No reason to limit this to calculated columns.

RE: Moving/Rearranging Calculated Columns

One key example of when I need this is when I use the DAX path () function to lay out a hierarchy and after separating the columns using pathitem () , i may add new columns that i need to reference but want to strategically place them to make the most sense and i can't.
