RE: SAP
The Power Query Connector in MS Excel supports the use of SAP BusinessObjects unx universes as a datasource.
It's possible to use dimensions, attributes and measures from the universe but it's not possible to utilise predefined filters built into the universe. This removes the ability for the Power Query end user to take advantage of SAP BusinessObjects functionality such as Index Awareness.
Predefined query filters are available through the SAP BusinessObjects RESTFul API, having the ability to utilise these would bring about both performance gains and improved ease of use for the Power Query end user.
RE: SAP
I wish there is a direct connector between SAP ECC and PowerBI.
RE: SAP
For all SAP Customer requesting the Power BI to deliver as its front end reporting.Really Will there be a chance of getting the BW , HANA Connector. What about the SAP Native BI tool like Lumira , Design studio , Webi , Analysis for EXCEL , Crystal report , BOBJ 4.2 ?
RE: SAP
By the using the SAP GW Gateway it only supports 100000 records.
RE: SAP

RE: SAP
Would like support for this in Power BI Desktop and Excel 2016
RE: SAP
Need confirmation from Microsoft on the future of PowerQuery -> BusinessObjects connectivity as well as wether the BusObj connector will ever be back in PowerBI ? This used to be a selling point for enterprise customers
RE: SAP
Also - the following "completed" response is inaccurate https://support.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi/suggestions/6917475-business-objects

RE: SAP
