As has been partly implemented with Filters, it would be very useful to have slicers that could apply to all pages of a report. This would allow users to interact more easily.

The most exciting news so far this year! In the February release of Power BI Desktop we've shipped the ability to synchronize slicers on different pages in your report! 'Completed' is a little optimistic. Not all objects that are available work in this way, previous iterations of the dashboards do not inherit this functionality, there are is no 'Current Selection' object or bread crumb notification.
So well done on delivering a fundamental must have for any visualisation tool nearly 2.5 years after it was initially requested.
Still some work to go before you park this one.

Does this work for custom slicers? Seems to work only for built in slicers!

How is this still not done? Starting to be annoying having to apologize that you have to "re-select" the entity you want information for on every page when this is base feature in every other visualization tool.

For all of you desperate for an update:
The feature is now showing in the Power BI Service and will be shipping next week as part of the Power BI Desktop update for February.

I believe that was a leak or something, because that is definitely not there now if you "edit report" and select "view".

Hi There, What is the latest on this? It would be extremely useful and i havent found a solution that works seamless like a slicer would.
