Hopefully this will make it out soon in the PowerBI product. Until then here are a few options to consider on this blog:

There are quite a few options mostly batch type of extracts. Hopefully we get the feature in PBI soon.

Looks like the request has been around for quite some time.
Connectivity to Essbase would be great, even an xmla based one .
Else the folks have to hack together temp solutions as
suggested by Neil.
Is there any ETA which would be helpful to the users to plan out ?

As Hyperion manager for Prosegur, to have a direct connector to Hyperion (Essbase, Planning,HFM) will be directly point us into PowerBI.... meanwhile we have to consider other solutions (Qlik and Tableau has it for example)...
