It would be great if you could select multiple columns in the data view e.g. the hide multiple columns from the report view in one operation.

RE: Allow selecting multiple columns in the data view

As with everyone else, have multiple columns that I have to format as a %, but can only do 1 at a time, not good enough for such an advanced tool to lack such a basic function

This is an absolute must. I have tables with 100 plus columns that I have to do one at a time

This is needed. My use case is to change the format of 30 date columns. I have to do this individually now. Very frustrating - especially early in a project when you aren't sure the format you want.

What would also help me is a global default format for dates and financials and counts.

It would also help in changing the formatting of multiple columns at the same time. Imagine you have 10 DateTime columns and want to select a format for them. You have to select them one by one and change the display format, which is a pain.

RE: Allow selecting multiple columns in the data view

Yeah it really just slows things down not having this. Feels like a pretty minor feature to include...

RE: Allow selecting multiple columns in the data view

This would be a big help!

At the moment if I want to change the Default Summarization behaviour on 20 columns then I have to do this individually (with a little pause in between as things get processed) and it's pretty tedious stuff.

Changing formats is another example where this could be handy.
