Agreed, This would help make reporting far more dynamic in regards to allowing users to build operational dashboards. One of the key calculations, our client's leverage a lot in our MOLAP to build their dashboards.

Definitely. Named sets provide a great deal of manipulation capability for multidimensional data. Would be awesome to have this.

sets like last 7 days, last 30 days, top 10, etc. would be very handy
