I uploaded several datasets already available to me, and now i want to create a single report using them. Can there be a way to refer to multiple datasets in a single report?

RE: Accessing multiple datasets in single report

Many times we have to break our models into multiple datasets for re-usability and to overcome size limitations of combining all data in 1 dataset. There are also many use cases where we would have to compose multiple datasets into 1 PBI report.

This is a must have!

A Must Have... someone knows if there is already an opinion from Product owner about this?

RE: Accessing multiple datasets in single report

Why? It's not very logic users can't use more than a single dataset in one report. If users have several dataset published at Power BI Service, users should have the chance to combine them to produce new knowledge, without duplicating over and over again the data. Users could make relationships from Power BI Desktop, and they would be responsible of doing that in the right way.
Dashboards are not he solution, because users could need to have multiple pages, need to publish to the web, or simply the need of build their reports in the Desktop environment.

Please allow users to make reports from multiple PowerBI Service datasets.

This is a must heave feature for enterprise level reporting & dash boarding. It seems weird that this is not one available already.

The datasets contain tremendous intellectual property value. To effectively constrain them to a single instance is very limiting. We create standard KPI's that should be able to be reused in connection with other related datasets. I hope this feature can become a priority.

This feature is indeed required in order to utilize Power BI's potential!

Can someone please merge a number of ideas with this one. There are multiple entries with this idea resulting in the votes getting diluted.

RE: Accessing multiple datasets in single report

This is one of the most important features that are missing. Yeah, you can add fancy stuff like 'ask a question' and all that can help the experience here or there, but this will be a make or break feature. It's very useful for when you don't know in advance what exactly you will be needing from your data.

Will start looking into alternatives if there is no solution to this.
