It would be great to conditional format a table and/or a matrix based on the cell text, not only numbers

This month we added the ability to format text fields based off a numeric field: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-may-2018-feature-summary/#conditionalFormatting We also are planning on adding a feature that will let you format your text based on comparisons. I'll update this idea based on our progress on that feature.

RE: Conditional Formatting for Text
Please please please add ability to do conditional formatting based on actual text! Would make data cards so much more powerful if I could change font or background color to stand out based on word displayed. For example "Go" would be in GREEN, "No Go" would be in RED
RE: Conditional Formatting for Text
It would be great if the expansion of this feature allowed for DAX statements as this would really open up the functionality
RE: Conditional Formatting for Text
'+1 to conditional formating
RE: Conditional Formatting for Text
Really unfortunate this is not possible. Would be extremely easy to do in a DAX if statement. Please add

RE: Conditional Formatting for Text
I need to be able to format a series of fields (full row) in a table based on a True/False field. It is a really simple,
IF field = True, then color: red, ELSE color: black
RE: Conditional Formatting for Text
It's pretty insane that a functionality this basic would be absolutely impossible in a tool as powerful as this.
RE: Conditional Formatting for Text
this tool needs the functionality to format text.
really not that hard to add, just add it to the "is" function as part of the "rules" conditionals.
