RE: Pull data from Splunk
Yes!
RE: Pull data from Splunk
We are working on a POC/Evaluation between SQL 2016/Power BI and Tableau. Splunk, ELK (Elasic Search) data sources are requirements. Simplicity is also important and the ability for users with Splunk knowledge to be able to easily translate that into the BI is critical. Although ODBC is an option it does not allow existing experience to be leveraged. Is Splunk, ELK connectivity on the Power BI Roadmap?

Yes. Yes. Yes.
RE: Pull data from Splunk
Recently I fielded an inquiry regarding Splunk and Power BI (and/or Power Query). There is currently a Tableau/Splunk POC in the works at my client. Tableau does seem to have slightly more facility with Splunk. Based on the little research I've done, it appears that it is possible to set up ODBC for use with Power BI. I did not find much more documentation or information on this, from either Splunk or from Microsoft. My client is interested in evaluating a PowerBI-based alternative POC if it is possible to do it without too much intricate configuration needed.

Yeah! this tool will be the best ever if it can pull data from the monitoring tool like Splunk ,SCOM, Dynatrace and so on.
I am in the monitoring and Event Management team, where we use Splunk, SCOM, Dynatrace and NETscout to monitor our servers. it would be very helpful if we can get all those different data into one place.
RE: Pull data from Splunk
YES ! there are a lot of info there.
BTW tableau has this feature
RE: Pull data from Splunk
Count me in! The massive data that Splunk generates is perfect for modeling and analyzing with PowerBI.
RE: Pull data from Splunk
Hi, We would love to pull splunk in to help capture metrics and baselines for KPI's
RE: Pull data from Splunk
Hi There, are there plans yet to implement a link between Splunk and Power BI ?
RE: Pull data from Splunk
I would love to see Splunk be a part of the priorities for Power BI. Splunk is a very powerful tool, but I'm not a big fan of their presentation interface and would love to see Power BI as the tool of choice.
