You need to able to add data labels to the maps (in power map, power view, and power BI Designer) such that you don't need to hover over the area to get the information.
Ideally you could add the data by your location identifier or even customize it.

RE: Data Labels for Maps

RE: Data Labels for Maps
Is this completed?
RE: Data Labels for Maps
Why is it marked as completed when it has not been implemented?
RE: Data Labels for Maps
Is this happening... ever?
RE: Data Labels for Maps
Is this completed? I can't see the functionality of adding a label (even an index number per bubble would be sufficient).
RE: Data Labels for Maps
I'd rather use PowerBI for visualizations but without map labels (data points such as city names, numbers of employees/sales/whatever, I'm stuck using Tableau.

I agree with Rafal because we cannot visually see the value in this data without having to hover over it. Therefore without this function, interpreting large amounts of data in the U.S.A. with many accounts all over makes it very unclear. Although, we have colors to categorize this by, there are only so many before it begins to repeat.
PLEASE make data labels available above data points columns...
