Currently, the dashboard tiles only resize a certain way in a few predetermined sizes. This is not sufficient for a world class dashboarding experience - the drawing surface should allow full freedom to resize and position at any level. This will allow some visualisations that currently do not fit in the predetermined sizes to work and also allow a much more fluid layout of the overall dashboard page.

This is so clunky I can't see how I can invest the time in learning dashboards until this functionality is added.

This is absolutely NOT COMPLETED.
The dashboard layout is way too clunky. The minimum height of a visual, which in turn determines the grid size, is a big obstacle.

This is the very much required. We do not see much updates on dashboard as compared to reports and visuals.

Idea has been closed but as far as I know I am not able to resize dashboard tiles to any size.
When you select the top bottom right corner of the tile to resize it you would then be able to see predetermined sizes appear as gray area while you drag the corner here and there.
Why this is annoying ? I have a tile including the date it was refreshed. This date information is either truncated is size is aligned to my tile content, or let appear huge blank space when I expand the size so avoid truncation of the date information. Not optimal :/

Why is the status set to Completed? There is no option to resize dashboard tiles freely. There are just predetermined sizes as mentioned by *******. There must be feature auto size of tile by the content.
