Being able to intergrade Power BI dashboards and reports into a Power Point deck will allow Power BI leapfrog the competition as a solid differentiation play and also in terms of value to end users.

I'm happy to share that "Export to PowerPoint" is available as a Preview feature, now in powerbi.com. See the blog post here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/export-power-bi-report-to-powerpoint-preview/ Since this is still in preview, I've opened a community thread to capture your feedback. please use it, we will be monitoring it closely: http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Export-to-PowerPoint-Preview-feedback/td-p/78945 Thanks for supporting this important feature, and for your patience!

RE: Power Point Integration

Desktop is a must for most of users because of security reason. Is it because of choice between service income and customer base? We saw fruit company did dig themselves a similar hole. Really don’t want to see a beautiful baby get tortured by greed parents this time. Pls do something other than simply setting up a wall.

RE: Power Point Integration

I feel somewhat cheated. I've spent all this time learning to build beautiful reports on Power BI, but I can't do anything with them other than screenshot them? Due to security concerns, I will NEVER be allowed to post my data to a cloud service. Does that make Power BI useless to me?

RE: Power Point Integration

From the first look it seems that i cannot download a PowerBI report to a PPT through Asp.Net MVC webapp and if this is the case than this feature is not useful at all. As a developer i want a API call that i can use to retrieve all the report pages as a PPT. Even in the current version of functionality i cannot export more that 15 pages to PPT, that is really sad.
