Ability to select/click a row on the table or chart and be able to contextually go to another report , with appropriate filters. This is only useful when we are able to hide the pages in the report and they appear only when something is(row or cell) selected on a table or similar chart.

I'm pleased to say that the September release of Power BI Desktop includes the capability to drill between report pages. we have project where need to Must implement drill through and its hold on due to this functionality. Any idea or suggest ?

Echo Sanjay Shah, it's important to have not only drill through within same PBI desktop but also drill to another reports, which could be PBI Desktop/SSRS report or even just a hyperlink. SQL Mobile (aka DataZen) and in fact almost all enterprise reporting tools have such basic capability.
I fully understand PBI starts for self service BI, it's critical now to catch up such enterprise BI required capability, otherwise, it's very difficult to deploy.

Hi Will. The drill through to the target page should not just be linked to a field. It should also be linked to a visual. For example on a page i may show a visual of Orders Booking, another of Invoicing and a third of Account Receivable. Now i should be able to click on the Account Receivable visual and drill down to the detailed Account Receivable page. Trust that this capability is also being given.
Secondly while the drill down is good from page to page, the real power would come when you permit drill down from one report to another, support multiple models in a single PowerBI file and permit the creation of visuals from different model on one page connected by common parameters. Something similar was possible in Datazen. Trust that such capabilities are there on the road map and would come soon.
Congrats and thanks to the whole PowerBI team to take up this extremely important functionality.

Any ETA for that? I'm struggling to explain to my customers that "drill through" is not possible in Power BI.

If has been ~5 months - we should have an update on this by now.

I strongly request this much needed feature which is pretty much staple in Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc, ie the ability to hyperlink to a different page or location in the report.

There should be an option to drill down from items such as KPI's to charts for more detailed information per period.
