    Provided the fact that NoSQL Database is emerging, it would be good to add NoSQL database such as MongoDB,Cassandra etc. as a data source in Power BI Excel mode as well as in Power View Dashboard.

    Thanks for your feedback. Please file specific suggestions for each data source that you'd like to see. Here's an existing suggestion for MongoDB, which you can vote: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/7017782-mongodb There currently isn't an existing suggestion for Cassandra, please create one if that is the data source you'd like to see added to Power BI.     Loving PowerBI, though a lack of MongoDB support means I have to compromise (no powerbi, or no mongodb).

    Would be awesome if would create a MongoDB adapter. Would definetely make us use PowerBI

    A Mongo connector would be huge! Tough to use PowerBI without that for most Bay Area startups.

    I would like to support this. Me too using MongoDb for the backend processing. I would be an added advantage for us as well as for microsoft to come up with NoSql. :-)
