We would like to have multiple y-axis on a chart, more than 2

Administrator on 20 Aug 2020 01:24:04

Multiple y-axis for Cartesian charts is on our backlog. I don't have a timeline to share, but please keep voting. I'll update the idea once we have more information to share.

RE: Multiple Y-Axis on a chart

It would be nice to have a second Y axis on the right side of a line chart... Example - on the left I have Gallons of wastewater water Treated and on the right I would have Rainfall... both are related to eachother but have different units.

RE: Multiple Y-Axis on a chart

I create a duplicate visual with the secondary field, change the y-axis position to "right" and then remove the x-axis.

It essentially overlays the first visual with the second.

RE: Multiple Y-Axis on a chart

Yes, like in Excel. I often need to plot two data sets together for a visual comparison. For now, I normalize the data first, but then that removes the magnitudes. Or, I plot two different plots and put them next to each other. Neither are good workarounds. This looks like a must have.

RE: Multiple Y-Axis on a chart

I need this functionality too, like the charting in excel you can just send a time series to a separate Y axis very simply. My dataset has all the values in one column and the values can be in totally different units say % or number etc. You cannot use the combo chart for this and we need a send time series to Y axis function please

RE: Multiple Y-Axis on a chart

This needs to be done. I can't keep using bar as a secondary axis!
