create multiple apps from same workspace infect from same Dataset without replicating the dataset multiple times.
only option we have now is to update the app and only one app per workspace can be created which a kind of restrict the workspace usability.
If we can create multiple apps share it with different users without creating multiple workspace ... means same dataset no dataset replication, will save the storage as well.

Currently we are not planning to allow multiple apps to be published from one workspace. Soon we will allow you to discover and use a dataset across workspaces. Once we have this capability, we believe much of the need for multiple apps per workspace will be addressed.

This would make it a bit easier to publish to large amounts of users. We would like few workspaces with few content-creators, but many different groups have access to many different apps.

The current design is not supportable long term. The complexity of having a 1:1 ratio of apps to workspaces cannot be support in a large organization.

This is a good feature but I would think that allowing app workspaces to be published with different RLS would work the same way/ if not better

Same issue here - we have a single data model / workspace used to create a wide variety of different reports which serve different purposes with different audiences. The 1:1 workspace - app relationship is going to make this quite time consuming to manage.

This is definitely a worthwhile bit of functionality that would bridge the gap between the old concept of "Workgroups", Content Packs, and Apps.

Multiple Apps per App Workspace, where content is tailored to each App recipients' needs. App Workspace is still subject or department specific, but access to content still needs controlling.

This method would be a better way to handle of security in terms of apps if you could pick and choose what is represented in each app, it also drives re-usability of reports since we would have to make a one-off App workspace and a one off app with similar content to ensure appropriate content is provided to the appropriate defined roles.
