create multiple apps from same workspace infect from same Dataset without replicating the dataset multiple times.
only option we have now is to update the app and only one app per workspace can be created which a kind of restrict the workspace usability.
If we can create multiple apps share it with different users without creating multiple workspace ... means same dataset no dataset replication, will save the storage as well.

Currently we are not planning to allow multiple apps to be published from one workspace. Soon we will allow you to discover and use a dataset across workspaces. Once we have this capability, we believe much of the need for multiple apps per workspace will be addressed.

As others have mentioned the inability to do this causes an explosion of workspaces and duplication of data sets. We'd prefer to have large, less numerous workspaces to manage but this limitation explodes the number of workspaces to be equal to the number of unique audiences (one or several people at a time) instead of one for each functional area or department using other means to control access.

Really need this. Otherwise will need to maintain multiple version of same data set. Not good :(

This is becoming increasingly important as our organization embraces the premium service so our casual users don't need a Power BI Pro license. Publishing Apps to these users is the most reliable way of sharing content with them.

I am interested for this feature too.
Currently I have a workspace for my reports based on one sales cube. But I have different publics, one report is for french people, an other report for Hong Kong, etc.
So I wanted to create an app for France and an other for Hong Kong, but I can't. The only way I see to solve the problem is to create two workspaces, that is not user friendly and less maintainable.
Definitly need to create more than one apps per workspace.

Highly support this idea. Without this the Apps and even the Premium product is not useful for us!

This is much needed functionality - our business has gone down the path of Premium which was great from a licensing point of view, but the inability to create multiple apps from the same workspace has made it unfit for purpose.

Apps are really good and perfect for distributing to particular people/departments within the organization.
Although I think that it would be better if for example, the BI Development Team could have one workspace where the reports are published but then able to distribute reports to either one or multiple Apps.
This would allow for less duplication of .pbix files and datasets and of course making it easier to maintain reports within the organization and that all are looking at the same data.
