Having a NetSuite connector would save a lot of time getting finance and accounting teams engaged with PowerBI.
The saved queries is a great suggestion too. The views that the accounting and finance folks already set up would be immediately available to them (versus having to redefine the views in Power BI). Plus, if they changed the saved queries, the reports and dashboards would reflect the latest definitions. Really nice from a self-service standpoint.

Furthermore, it would be great if Power BI reports could be published in NetSuite dashboard portlets, allowing for quick implementation and rapid endorsement. Otherwise, we would need to create and test workspaces first and entice management to access the Power BI dashboards as well. Google Analytics and Charts is headed that way.

This would really provide a lot of power. This was announced back in May 2015. Has there been any progress on this front?

As a NetSuite implementer, I would recommend using Power BI in almost every NetSuite implementation. This would be awesome.
