RE: Elastic Search
It is fairly easy to use PowerBI with elasticsearch already through web-call, if you know the elastic fairly complicated (for people used to SQL) syntax. A built in "connector" would do wonders in letting people not super dedicated to learning elastic syntax use data from it.
We're more or less moved away from traditional databases for BI-data storage and use almost exlusively elasticsearch currently.
RE: Elastic Search
I confirm I too am working on a major project where the data hub is Elasticsearch and the main visualisation tool is Power BI.
RE: Elastic Search
If anyone is interested in trying out Conduit (https://bpcs.com/conduit), it enables the use of ElasticSearch as a data source, I'd be happy to get you set up. Let me know.
RE: Elastic Search
yes, this would be a great feature...

Please support connectivity
RE: Elastic Search
We heavily use the Elasticsearch-driven Graylog tool. This would improve our reporting capabilities significantly! Please please please get it implemented! :)
RE: Elastic Search
Critical !!!
RE: Elastic Search
ElasticSearch is hybrid non relational database with plugins for SQL, joins, graph queries, with increasing popularity. There are LINQ and custom LINQ providers too. I would be good to have Elastic Search as data source for Power BI. Better web version integrated first.
RE: Elastic Search
Really really need this! We're and ISV that uses Power BI and Elastic both quite heavily.
