Export to PowerPoint reveals "hidden" Pages, and the "hidden" pages contribute to the maximum of export limit of 15 pages. It would be great if:
a) the hidden pages did not contribute to the maximum 15 pages
b) the hidden pages were not revealed when exported to PowerPoint

Hi everyone, This is coming soon when we also release filtered export capabilities in the service. We’ll have an update on this status shortly! Thanks, Chris

RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages
Hello everyone.
Your last update on this was in January 19... Don't want to sound impatient, but will there be any progress on this feature anytime soon?
Because, as the others wrote, that should really be a core functionality...
RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages
When can we expect this to be released? It's been a while since work on this item has started.
RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages
Yes, PBI users should have the choice. If they want to export a hidden page they can unhide the page before export. Common sense suggests that users who have hidden a page want the page hidden from view in their export to PowerPoint as well.
RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages
Such a simple issue takes several years to get fixed, no wonder Tableau is winning. They know how to hide sheets.
RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages
How many 'Votes' do you need for a BUG fix, so that hidden pages are not exported by default?
IMHO, this is not about a feature request, but it should be considered as a bug, as 'hidden' pages are supposed to be hidden. This makes PBI look like a joke, especially to the report consumers ranging up to the senior leadership team, who often just want to run the PPT exports, and then be surprised to see report drafts or development work.
This makes them questioning if PBI is the right tool going forward, or better switch to more 'professional' tools ... a marketing desaster. All the good work blown away in a second.
RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages
Appreciate if a fix can be identified for this. The work around leads to duplication of power BI desktop files and manual duplication of work. This would be a great improvement to user experience.
RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages
Hidden tabs are not really "hidden" if they show up when exported. Very disappointed to find this limitation after sharing workspace link with all stakeholders. My hidden tabs are not confidential anymore, which they should be! Please fix ASAP.
RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages
"Coming Soon" and "Update Shortly" - is the last communication from MSPBI over a year ago. You guys make us look like liars in front of our clients -- it's not fabulous.
RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages
So today one of our clients called me asking me about my hidden reports . What's the point of hiding of hiding the pages on Desktop only for them to be visible on Service export to PowerPoint. Clearly someone is not applying common sense.
RE: Export to Powerpoint - Hide "Hidden" Pages
Amazing ! This definitely prevents us to build neat PDF from report, as tooltip pages are not designed for rendering without a particular context. We alsao have some hidden debug pages, and a version control / tech documentation pages... don't want thousands of end-users to see this !!!
