Power BI Report Server should have an option to open the report in Full Screen mode just as it has an option in Power BI Service . When we open reports in Power BI Report Server , we can view page in 3 options 1:) Fit to Width , 2:) Fit to Page and 3:) Actual size . Issue with these three mode is the page and header consumes a lot of space and we need to scroll to view to full report .

This would be a great feature to avoid having to use manual workarounds that end users may or may not be able to perform.

For all those still waiting for a permanent fix for this issue, another workaround is to add a button to your PBIRS report, set the action to Web URL, and enter the URL of the published report appended with 'rs:embed=true'.

This will open a full-screen version of the report in a new tab/window while we patiently wait for an updated response from MS.

I am get tired to answer questions to management why such report cannot be displayed in full screen. This really should not be a big task for Microsoft to add three buttons with the commands needed.

RE: Full Screen mode in Power BI Report Server

Very important feature and a big constrain for the Report Server - Power Bi is for good visualization, while it is badly impacted by the size.

There is also a bug when using the other display options where the Filter Pane does not work properly when setting the view to Page Width. The Filter Pane when on open state hides behind the page layout area.

RE: Full Screen mode in Power BI Report Server

This is must have functionality. Only reason not using Power BI report server is due to un availability of full screen mode.

What kind of excellent user experience by asking users to add "?rs:embed=true" to urls and remember hitting F11!! No wonder users prefer Tableau!

RE: Full Screen mode in Power BI Report Server

This is already done, just add "?rs:embed=true" at the end of the url and it will remove the Report Server features. Then, if you are in Internet Explorer you can also use F11 to go truly full screen and not even see the browser. This is great for presentations.
