Currently we can import a Report Template into Power BI Desktop and create a new report using it. However, it would be useful to have the option of importing a Report Template into an existing report. The option to select which Report Pages to import from the Report Template would be even more powerful and advantageous.

It would make our work so much easier.

This would help with merging new report pages into existing report pages in scenerio where one report is being used as a dashboard from which ever increasing reports would be added or existing reports modified outside of the original dashboard report.

Really require this! I have multiple KPI dashboards each based on a separate data source. Now, I would like to combine all dashboards into a single .pbix file. This idea would come in very handy and will save a lot of time.

Has there been any update on this? This would be incredibly useful for a couple of the reports I have been creating!

Completely agree with all the other posters here - this is an absolute must! What's the point in having a template if you can only apply it to a new report!
