Other MS products offer the ability to group items together and layer. I have found call to need to push shapes to the back and metrics forward etc but find current workarounds cumbersome. Plus if you want to copy a layered visual (white box covering things etc) I have to recreate the whole thing instead of grouping

Tacking onto this, the weird behavior of "I click something and it comes to the front" prevents deliberate overlapping of elements (ex: a card in a total row providing a dynamic row count ... an info button in a column header...simple boxes used to visually separate items...) if that's not just a bug, some control over the behavior would be nice

There should be a feature to group multiple visuals in a single container such that when the container is moved, visuals inside it also move relatively, when the size of the container is changed, visuals size should also change relatively

Yes, we need this. Lock individual objects, or give us the ability to place them on layers, and lock the layer.

I very need this, I use Bookmarks for changing visibility of many items and their axe into the hierarchy, but it's very tedious

Yes, it would be a very useful feature, just like in Power Point. Unfortunatelly, it looks like they do not consider it as a priority.

Yes definitely helpful when you want to apply a filter only for certain set of visuals

Holy cow...is it hard to reformat hundreds of visuals or what? Grouping would solve this. I have a report with tons of KPIs that are in grid like blocks. So time-consuming to do simple reformatting.
