Ctrl P does not do a good job of printing the dashboard. Provide a Print button which optimises printing perhaps defaulting to the filters & title on page 1 and the dashboard sheets in landscape on pages 2 to n+1

RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards

The Nprint in Qlikview is very useful but no such features in Power BI

RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards

This is a half-cooked feature, it only prints what is visible in page. when users recommended print it should cover all standard printing features.

RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards

This is not completed. I can't print a table that was multiple rows. I can only print what fits on one page. We need a way to be able to print the whole table, regardless of how many rows it is.

RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards

As per many comments below, this is not completed. PDF printing is still very rudimentary. Whilst we would all hope our users will interact with it in the cloud, the reality is that sometimes there is a strong business case to producing a PDF set.

RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards

need a way to iterate over the report data and print entire table by filter. say you are using account numbers, the table data would have all account numbers, but the iterative reports, output, would be by account number. and all table data, visible and non-visible would print,

RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards

Clearly not fixed.
Printing to PDF only prints the part that is visible on screen.
When you have scrollbars in tables, you loose more data than is shown in the printout.
This is when working with the on premise solution.
Please resolve this.

RE: Allow proper printing of Dashboards

Sadly, someone in MS has marked this Completed, when it so clearly is not. We desperately need a properly implemented solution to printing dashboard pages and reports across the service, including Power BI Embedded. Someone else said, Tableau is vastly superior to Power BI in this regard. That should be a wake-up call to someone....

Thanks @ka for creating a new Idea - can everyone please vote for https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/34142299-allow-proper-printing-of-dashboards-and-report-pag
