Would be very useful indeed.
Ideally, it should also support "row level security", by allowing to pass user credentals to Essbase.

It would be awesome if it connects to Hyperion apps (HFM, Essbase & Planning).
A PowerBI connecting to Hyperion databases and refresh the data on the fly such as Smartview addin, would be an awesome tool. - Sharat

I agree! We definitely need Essbase connectivity for Power BI.
